“We are consumers so that we can become products.” That’s the keenest of the many keen observations I have relished from you. I greatly enjoy all your insightful turns of phrase and this one knocked me out. Don’t stop sharing the world according to you.
So great to see (& hear) all of this: thank you! I grew up (or tried to) on Frank’s Wild Ride, & still esp love the classic heartbreakers The Train Song & Innocent When You Dream. Also love Picking Up After You & much of the Tom Waits/Crystal Gayle soundtrack to the Coppola musical flop One from the Heart (undervalued IMO but apparently now getting more appreciation 🤷🏻♀️)
The title track on that album is so great....and I love hearing Waits' lyrics from female voices, most of them so delicate, the opposite of his. Thanks, Denise!
Enjoyed as usual 🙂

Enjoyed step right up ! Jazzy and funny
It still makes me laugh every time!
Made my way down this list until I hit Jersey Girl and spun off into a Springsteen algorithm. Don't hate it!
They share similarities—rough voices, personas of a particular type from very particular places, interesting!
